The Lab.

Generative instruments shipped as small, self-contained pieces, each one running entirely in the browser. Calm tech, breath-aware motion, and the quiet pleasure of making the screen respond to a hand.

Void Breath: a torus of thousands of colored particles on black, slowing to a guided breath.
Piece 01 · Anchor

Void Breath

A breathing space rendered in real-time 3D with React Three Fiber. Thousands of particles form a torus that slows and steadies itself to a guided breath, drawing the screen into the same rhythm as the body. The first instrument in the lab and the one the others orbit around.

Infinite: a gallery of twelve procedural scenes, including liquid metal, particle storms, reaction-diffusion coral, and procedural nebulae.
Piece 02 · Showcase

Infinite

Twelve procedural scenes in a single room: liquid metal, flow-field particle storms, reaction-diffusion coral, audio terrain, marching-squares lava, an L-system garden, a glitch portrait, ASCII rain, stable fluids, a raymarched SDF sculpture, and a procedural nebula with a constellation namer. Every scene is interactive, every scene runs entirely client-side, every scene was built to prove that the browser by itself is enough.

Still Water: a dark water surface with luminous ivory ink strokes that ripple while wet and settle permanently when released.
Piece 03 · New

Still Water

A drawing surface that ripples. Strokes disturb the water while wet and set permanently into the surface when you lift, with a quiet sine voice that follows the hand and a light that breathes at six per minute, the physiological relaxation rate. Built as one self-contained file, no framework, no dependencies, no compromise. Press and draw, lift to keep, or choose to let it go.

The wider design practice

The Lab is the playground. The full design and interaction work, the production board that runs the film, the teaching breakdown that walks a shot from audio to grade, and the longer write-up on void breath, lives next door on the Design and Interaction page.
